Weekly inflation witnesses nominal rise \ Business Recorder
ISLAMABAD (March 14 2010): The Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI), for the week ended on March 11, for the lowest income group up to Rs 3,000, has registered nominal increase of 0.19 percent over the previous week. The SPI for the week under review in the above mentioned group was recorded at 255.56 points as against 255.08 points registered in the previous week, according to provisional figures of Federal Bureau of Statistics (FBS).

Oil drops below $81 \ Business Recorder
NEW YORK (March 13 2010): Oil slipped more than 1 percent to below $81 a barrel on Friday, as data showing a drop in consumer confidence brought back investor concerns about energy demand. The front-month US crude fell $1.12 to $80.99 a barrel by 1:42 pm EDT (1842 GMT), reversing earlier gains. The contract had climbed as high $83.16, the highest since $83.95 on January 11.
