KSE to sell defaulter’s card \ Daily Times
KARACHI (March 10 2010): Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) has decided to sell one of the defaulted member’s cards for Rs 51.5 million. Adnan Afridi, Managing Director KSE confirmed to Daily Times the decision and said after the default of members, card becomes the property of KSE. “It does not matter whose card is this. It is now the property of KSE and said three cards of the defaulted members are for sale and so far KSE has put only one on sale”. Sources, however said cards of Capital One Securities,

Aptma units to go on strike from March 18 \ Business Recorder
KARACHI (March 10 2010): Announcing to disassociate with the Ministry of Textile Industry, the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (Aptma) has decided to go on strike from March 18, if the Prime Minister or the President did not resolve the issue of cotton yarn export.
ECC okays 0.4m tonnes of urea import \ Daily Times
ISLAMABAD (March 10 2010): Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet on Tuesday approved the import of 0.4 million tonnes of urea for remaining Rabi and Kharif season 2009-10.

KARACHI (March 09 2010): A proposal to merge Arif Habib Investment Limited with MCB Asset Management Company Limited is in the works, separate notices released at the stock exchange on Wednesday stated.
